Dale "Polecat" Beavers LIVE on WSGR 91.3fm

Wednesday September 16th from 8-10pm Dale "Polecat" Beavers will be live in the WSGR 91.3fm studios. He's bringing in his guitar to do some playing and singing as well as telling us stories about playing with legends like Junior Kimbrough and Nathaniel Mayer as well as bass on the Compulsive Gamblers album "Crystal Gazing Luck Amazing" album. Check out Dale's music at his Myspace page.

WSGR 91.3fm Status Update

New tower installed and transmitter back up to full power. New equipment installed in the actual studio over the next week or so. The station will be back on the air asap. Can't say exactly when but soon (hopefully sometime in the next two weeks if not before). Sit tight and get ready.

THE BEAT IS BACK

EXPANDED HOURS TOO!!!!

The Blue Water Beat

Wednesday Nights

6pm to 10pm

WSGR 91.3 FM

Port Huron, Mi

Where's The Beat (and WSGR in general?)

So people have been asking what has been going on with the radio program and questions about the radio station signal itself. The station is on the air but is suffering from some tech problems. It's is running at full power but when you tune it in it sounds all distorted. There is a bug somewhere in the system. The station is waiting on the technician to show up and fix the problems.

What it boils down to is that there is one licensed tech and he does not live in the area and the does the work for most of the radio stations in the area. He's only in Port Huron one day a week and takes care of all the stuff he has to do on that day. The college station gets overlooked sometimes. EVERYbody involved in the station is trying their best to get the station back up to speed but hands are sorta tied when it comes to this aspect of it. The show won't be on tonight and next week is the Harvest Moon Party BUT we hope to get it rolling the week after that (provided the tech probs are taken care of.)

Comments and concerns can be found here.

If ya wanna dig something along the lines of what might've went on check out our LastFM page and a in development thing we got going on at Bloop.

Radio Silence??

The Blue Water Beat radio program has been taking some time off but will (hopefully) return to the airwaves in the next week or two...
